Log live concerts
A listening life isn't only recordings. If you love this music, some of your strongest memories of it happened in a seat: the first time you heard a full orchestra in the room, the opera you almost skipped, the touring quartet that came through your city. Until today, Opus had no place for those nights. Now it does.
Live entries
When you log a new session, you'll see a choice at the top: Recording or Live. A live entry keeps everything a recording entry does, the composer, the work, your rating, your notes, and swaps the recording for the night itself.
The venue. Search for any concert hall, opera house, church, or park, anywhere in the world. The famous rooms are ready and waiting, but so is the local hall where you actually go.
The performers. Add the orchestra, choir, opera company, or quartet you heard. We built this to work for the ensembles people actually see live, not just the ones with big recording catalogs, so your city's own orchestra is in there alongside Berlin and Vienna.
Your photos. Attach up to four. They become the heart of the entry: open it later and the night looks back at you before you read a word.
The map. Every live entry closes with a map of where in the world you heard it. Years from now, that pin on another coast will mean something.
In your journal, live nights carry a small gold ticket, so you can spot them as you scroll back through your months.
Photos for every entry
While we were at it, photos now work on regular listening entries too. The record on the turntable, the score in your lap, the view from the chair where you always listen. If it's part of the memory, it belongs in the journal.
Everything stays yours
Live entries live where the rest of your journal lives: on your device and in your private iCloud. Photos included. Nothing is uploaded to us, and your journal exports now carry your live concerts alongside everything else.
